CME Medical Conferences

Allergy Testing and Immunotherapy for Primary Care Physicians

A Seminar for Medical Allergy Testing and Evaluation

CME Conference Description:

This course is a model for primary care physicians wanting to learn to administer and interpret allergy tests using multiple allergy applicators, and, when indicated, initiate and carry out an immunotherapy program to completion. Application and interpretation of results will be by active, hands on participation. This CME medical conference will review and update the clinical factors regarding allergic, non-allergic, and mixed rhino-sinusitis. It will address the relationship between rhino-sinusitis and asthma and recommend when allergy testing is indicated in this situation. Screening patients using a limited number of allergens is cost effective and should be done before testing for all allergens. Immunotherapy problems and their solutions will be presented. There will be ample time for questions.

    CME Conference Reviews

"Great practical information appropriately oriented to a primary care audience. I'll be able to implement this quickly."
    - James McNabb, M.D., Mooresville, NC - July 2006

"I feel Dr. Hedges was great! We have learned a lot. I love the fact that even though the class is over, they still allow access to information from their website. Email addresses were given to the class for questions that might come up later. Dr. Hedges and Kathy were willing to answer all qeustions. Demonstrations were very informative."
    - Loretta Worsham, M.A., New Caney, TX - December 2006
