CME Medical Conferences

Laser Aesthetics (New)

A Seminar for Medical Laser and Energy Based Aesthetic Trainings

CME Conference Description:

This CME accredited medical conference provides an overview for the LASER, Intense Pulsed Light and Radio Frequency “novice” and serves as a review for clinicians who are increasing the scope of their LASER, IPL and RF, office based aesthetic practice.  A review of LASER, IPL and RF physics, useful wavelengths, tissue interactions and safety for minimally invasive procedures-both ablative and non-ablative, is presented.  This field is rapidly evolving.  There are continual changes in technology, technique and manufacturers.  The logic of which wavelengths are appropriate to treat which conditions, combining technologies and appropriate patient selection are stressed.  This should help practitioners determine which procedures and equipment might be useful and economically viable in their own practice.  Integrating aesthetic procedures into the practice, the basics of ethical marketing, staffing considerations, patient consent and pre- and post – treatment care are reviewed. Demonstrations and hands on training will depend on the equipment and patients available.  Education on particular equipment and some advanced techniques are beyond the scope of this CME medical conference, but can be pursued through additional training sources that are reviewed.
This course now provides live demonstrations and hands-on training!

This course is taught by Edward Zimmerman, MD, the current president of the American Board of Laser Surgery in the new Las Vegas Laser & Lipo offices.
Round-trip transportation from Caesar’s Palace to Las Vegas Laser & Lipo will be provided. For pictures of the new Las Vegas Laser & Lipo location, click here.
More details to follow, for those registered, 30 days from course start date. Please e-mail Lindsay Pumford at lindsay@npinstitute.com if you have any questions.
