Dr. Esherick graduated with his MD from Yale University of Medicine in 1994 and went to Ventura County Medical Center in California for his Family Practice internship and residency followed by an Obstetrics Fellowship. He has continued there as Associate Director of Inpatient Medical Services and as ICU Director, as Hospitalist and Family Practice faculty, and as an attending physician in the departments of Internal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine. His professional skills include a myriad of procedures: C-section, tubal ligation, vasectomy, colposcopy, LEEP, D & C, ICU procedures and procedural sedation. He has won the Attending of the Year and Teaching Attending of the Year awards from Ventura County Medical Center, and the AAFP Leadership in Family Practice award.
