Ms. Hucks received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Mangement from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She has credentialing as a RHIA Registered Health Information Administrator and Certified Coding Specialist. Ms. Hucks has attended numerous traing programs for computer technology and application sofware for coding, transcription, and cancer registry. She has been self imployed as an Independent Coding Consultant for 10+ years performing coding, billing and reimbursement advisement for hospitals, outpatient clinics, physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, and rual health clinics. Ms. Hucks is a national speaker on coding and reimbursement issues.
