Stuart Forman, MD

Stuart Forman, M.D.graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 1990, and is board certified in Family Medicine. He graduated from residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency in 1993 and completed the UCSF Northern CA Faculty Development Fellowship in 2004. He is Assistant Director of Critical Care Services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and a member of the Departments of Family Medicine, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, and Surgery.
Dr. Forman performs and teaches a wide variety of inpatient procedures in the family medicine residency program. He has been an instructor for the National Procedures Institute for sevaral years teaching the hospitalist procedure course, and has been an instructor for the colonoscopy/EGD courses at the AAFP Scientific Assembly. Along with his position in the critical care unit he is an inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology and high risk perioperitive consultant, and maintains a panel of family medicine patients.
