AAFP Prescribed Credit
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit
These activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and National Procedures Institute. The Texas Academy of Family Physicians is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Each activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. 
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Equivalencies
AOA
CME activities approved for AAFP Prescribed credit or AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ are recognized by the
American Osteopathic Association (AOA) as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.

CFPC
CME activities approved for AAFP Prescribed credit are accepted by the College of Family Physicians of Canada as equivalent to MAINPRO-M1 credit due to the reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
