Refunds/Transfers/Credits:
For cancellations more than 30 days prior to course start date, a registrant is entitled to a refund, credit or transfer of the original registration amount minus a $100 processing fee.
For cancellations between 7 and 30 days prior to course start date, a registrant is entitled to a refund, credit or transfer of 50% of the original registration amount.
For cancellations less than 7 days prior to course start date or for “no-shows”, no refunds, credits or transfers are awarded.
In the case of an emergency, a registration can be given to a colleague. Please fax written notice of your intent to forward your registration by providing your name, the course name and date, and your colleague's name and contact information to 512-329-0442 at least one business day prior to the course start date.
A written notice is required to cancel a registration. Please email your name and the course you wish to cancel to registrar@npinstitute.com or via fax to 512-329-0442. Your cancellation will be processed within 48 hours and written notification will be provided to the email address on file in your NPI profile.
A refund is defined as a registrant canceling a course receiving back the amount paid at registration (minus a $100 processing fee) via check or credit card.
A credit is defined as a registrant canceling a course and keeping the amount paid at registration (minus a $100 processing fee) in their NPI account to be used on a future course.
A transfer is defined as a registrant canceling a course and using the amount paid at registration (minus a $100 processing fee) on a future course.
In the event of a credit or transfer, the registrant is subject to pay the difference in price of a future course and will lose previous discounts that may have initially applied.
Government Employees:
NPI welcomes government employees to attend our courses. Please contact us for our Tax ID, DUNS or CCR number. Unfortunately, NPI is unable to reserve a seat in our courses with a purchase order. Payment via check or credit card is required to complete a registration.
Cancellation of Course:
A minimum number of registrants are required for each course. If the minimum is not met and it should become necessary for NPI to cancel a course, a full refund will be issued in the amount which you paid at the time of registration. NPI is NOT responsible for any travel expenses you may have incurred prior to, or after, cancellation of the course.
Sold-Out Courses:
NPI sets a maximum number of registrants we accept per course. If you are trying to register for a coure that is sold out, please call the NPI main office (866-674-2631) to be placed on our waiting list.
NPI is NOT responsible for any travel expenses you may have incurred prior to, or after, the course sells out.
NPI is not responsible for accommodating unconfirmed registrations in the event of a sold out medical conference.
Hotel Room Blocks:
NPI has reserved a limited number of rooms at the host hotel for our attendees. You must call the hotel directly to receive our group discount. You must call the hotel directly and mention you are with the National Procedures Institute to receive our group discount. NPI encourages you to make your hotel reservations as soon as possible because the room block can fill up before the posted cutoff date. Once full, the hotel will no longer honor NPI’s discounted rate.
Please go to the specific courses location page for hotel and rate information.PLEASE NOTE: Our website will not stop you from registering for an available course simply because the room block cut-off date has passed. If you choose to cancel out of a medical conference due to unavailability of sleeping rooms, all of our regular cancellation policies will still be in effect.
Special Notes:
Registration will not be taken without payment of tuition in full. You will receive written confirmation from our office when we receive your payment for a medical conference, either via email or regular mail. Until you receive this confirmation, please do not assume that you are registered for the medical conference. If you have not received an email confirmation within 1 day, or a hard copy via standard mail within 10 days, contact us again. Your registration is not finalized until you receive this written confirmation from our office. We are not responsible for accommodating unconfirmed registrations in the event of a sold out medical conference.
In order to make the educational experience the best possible for our attendees, we do not permit "observers" to attend our medical conferences. Only registered attendees will be allowed into NPI courses. Family members, spouses, children, office staff or friends are not allowed into the room where the course is being held. In addition, all food and refreshments offered during medical conferences are for paid attendees ONLY.
Some of the courses offered by NPI include exhibitors with products and/or equipment related to the course procedures. As an attendee interested in learning more about the procedure, NPI will be happy to share your contact information (provided on your NPI profile page) with the exhibitor so that they may discuss products and equipment with you after the course is completed. If you do not wish for NPI to share your contact information, please let us know in writing by emailing us at registrar@npinstitute.com prior to the course start date.
NPI reserves the right to change prices, agendas or other CME medical conference information without notice. |
