Louis B. Cady. MD, FAPA
Dr. Louis Cady is a board certified psychiatrist and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a Diplomat with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His medical training was at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and his internship and residency in psychiatry was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Cady began a conventional practice of psychiatry in 1993, but realized that not all of his patients were getting well. He subsequently did age management medicine training at the Cenegenics Medical Institute Las Vegas, NV, and began integrating vitamins, nutritional products, and hormones into his practice.
In 2005, he founded the Cady Wellness Institute, and in 2012 he integrated transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment for depression into his Institute. This is the only installed TMS system within 100 miles.
Dr. Cady did further training in hormone replacement with Neal Rouzier, MD, and has lectured nationally on hormone replacement and functional medicine for the Age Management Medical Group (AMMG), Integrated Medicine and Mental Health Conference (IMMH), every year for the last six years at their annual conference, and internationally in Canada and Brazil.
He treats children, adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients for psychiatric disorders and additionally has an active hormone replacement therapy and wellness-focused practice using all forms of treatment.
A noted speaker and presenter, Dr. Cady speaks nationally and internationally on functional medicine and hormone dysfunction and replacement. He also lectures on psychiatric topics as well, including depression, ADHD, anxiety disorders, major mental disorders, and autism, and he is on the speakers’ bureau of several pharmaceutical companies.
His book, The NeuroVitality® Breakthrough, is expected in late 2017 early 2018.
