Advanced Colonoscopy Course Description
This CME medical conference is designed to meet the educational
needs of clinicians who are already performing colonoscopy, and desire
to sharpen their diagnostic and technical skills. Techniques for the
removal of polyps, treating bleeding lesions, and tattooing will be
discussed. Ample hands-on time for practice on models will be provided.
Significant time will be spent reviewing unusual pathology. There will
be discussion of controversial issues and difficult cases. By the end of
the course, participants should feel more confident in their ability to
manage their patient's colonoscopy needs. Dr. Bart Pope, who has taught
most of our colonoscopy CME medical conferences and always receives
excellent evaluations, is the instructor.
